GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL, ALIGARH, celebrated Rakshabandhan and Independence Day with great fervor. The gamut of celebration activities held in the school consisted of morning assembly, parade, Rakhi making competition, and many cultural activities.
The entire school assembled in the auditorium. Students sung patriotic songs and gave dance performances, they presented a musical skit on ‘oneness among Indians’ and on Rakshabandhan as well. The principal gave a speech reminding the students and the teachers of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters, also about the importance of freedom.
